Kathy Jo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with individuals and couples. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She has spoken and written resources on various topics including anxiety, depression, marital enrichment, affair-proofing your marriage, trauma recovery, and anger management. With a background in ministry leadership, Kathy Jo has worked for over 20 years in numerous churches leading, training, and equipping others in counseling ministries.
One of Kathy Jo’s most enjoyable jobs was serving for over 10 years as a clinical supervisor at Relationship 180. Having been influenced by the work of Milan and Kay Yerkovich for several decades, Attachment Core Pattern Therapy has shaped her clinical work and her work as a supervisor. Currently, she enjoys opportunities to encourage, support, and provide consultation to Relationship 180 therapists.
Kathy Jo has been married to her husband Rich for over 45 years. They live in Mission Viejo and have two adult children and three grandchildren. Now embarking on semi-retirement, they enjoy spending time with grandchildren, volunteering at church, and hiking in the Sierras and our local mountains.
